Tip for Christmas...
I had a go at decorating a hessian bag (from Budgens) with fabric paints for my Nanny's birthday. It looked really professional and she loved it (it was also very cheap!, but personal) So then I tried out my children's hand prints, fabric pens and felt stick-on shapes. They all worked really well, so now my whole family will be getting a decorated bag full of goodies for Christmas! Have a go...You could also use, ribbon, bells and anything else you can fine to glue on.

Autumn's Here
Hello everyone! I love this time of year. Its full of seasonal events to celebrate with lots of fun crafts. I have recently ordered some Halloween activities which my 4 year old has already experimented with! And I know it seems like a long way off, but Christmas is just around the corner so I have also enjoyed stocking up on lots of seasonal goodies such as jingle bells, Christmas stickers, stockings and gifts to make for the family.
Just to update you on party fun - I did a party this weekend. My brief from the mum was pink, fluffy and glittery. I managed to include all of the brief and had loads of fun! My next party is this Sunday. 5 boys and 5 girls. We are doing some t-shirt design, animal masks, magnet making and gliders.

More party fun!
Last Sunday, I went to a friends birthday party. She had invited 18 children with an age range of 2 to 10 years old. I took along lots of party bags with a craft activity in each one to take home, and three other activites to choose from to do at the party. Even the little ones got involved colouring in their animal masks and growling at everyone! It was a very busy party, but all the children went home with lots of crafty goodies.
DO IT YOURSELF !
I recently made-up a party pack for a parent who wanted to have a go at doing the party herself. I supplied materials for 3 activities per child, a craft activity for each child to take home and do, instructions and party bags. Just another option!

My first Birthday Party
A few Saturdays ago I hosted my first bithday party. When I woke up that morning, it was pouring with rain and rained for most of the day. Julia (the lady who I was doing the party for) was relieved that she had book me as she thought we would probably be indoors and it ment she didn't have to worry about what to do with the children for two hours! Just before the party started, the rain stopped and we managed to do all our crafts in the garden. The six six year old girls got stuck in creating bags with lots of sparkly things on and their names, coasters with bright patterns and some lovely colourful trinket boxes. This took one and a half hours. Then they had a bit to eat and eagerly came back to choose their beads to take home to make bracelets. Some choose to make them for their mums which was very sweet! Julia was very pleased and didn't have to do a thing except chat with the other guests (family members) A great time was had by all including me. I can't wait for my next party in a few weeks time.

A Sunny Saturday Afternoon at the Farm
Hello and thanks to everyone who visited us at Peach Croft Farm on Saturday. It was quite a quiet affair, probably due to it being a sunny Saturday afternoon in the Summer Holidays but we broke even and, hopefully, created a fair amount of interest.
We were the busiest stall in the marquee. We think that parents found it really useful to leave their children busy with us whilst they wandered off to browse other nearby stalls.
As ever, if you have any comments for us, please click the link below and tell us what you're thinking or send us an email: claire.daisymoo@gmail.com. We look forward to hearing from you.
